The Forum for the County Executive, scheduled for October 15th at Hofstra University, is CANCELLED. The Mangano campaign manager, Brian Nevin, indicated to League late Thursday, September 26th, that Mangano would NOT be able to attend the October 15th forum, despite saying in July by email that their campaign would confirm after the primary. Late Sunday evening (9/29/13), Mr. Nevin indicated to us that no other evening times are available to Mr. Mangano for a forum. The League has held these forums at Hofstra for the last three races for the County Executive office.
