The League of Women Voters of East Nassau is launching a campaign to recruit new members, women, men and students 16 years and older.
We are having a get together on Wednesday July 18th at the Levittown Public Library, 1 Bluegrass Lane, Levittown at 7:15pm.
The League is a non-partisan, non-profit organization which encourages informed and active participation in government and works to increase understanding of major public policy issues through education and advocacy.
This years campaign is Make Democracy Work.
