On June 28, 2019, our usual Freeport Housing Authority cadre came together to monitor the FHA election for Resident Commissioner. The day went smoothly due to everyone arriving at his/her location on time and
staying until the ballot boxes were picked up by the maintenance people, who were not on time. Two buildings were covered from 9:30 am – 3:30 pm, and a third from 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. I tabulated and recorded the results at the Main Street office at 4:30 pm.
I would like to thank sincerely, for their participation: Barbara Levine, Hal Levine, Lillian Broad, Jay Broad, Rhoada Tannenbaum, Mary Price, Marion Scharade, Marilyn Benson and Dania Smith. I noticed in my notes that last year Lorraine Newman took the 7:00 am shift. I am truly sad.
