Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.

On your ballot in November there will be a proposition to determine whether there should be a NYS Constitutional Convention. This proposition is required to be on the ballot every 20 years. If there is a Con-Con, and there are decisions to make changes in the state constitution, the changes would be presented to the voters in a subsequent ballot, and we would get to vote on whether to approve the changes or not. This year, there are good government (and other) groups who would like you to vote for this proposition and other good government (and other) groups who would like you to vote against it. Come to our September meeting and hear from both sides before you have to make the decision.
