We were all excited about finally getting together in person to celebrate the New Year at the LWV of East Nassau’s 2022 Holiday Party which was to take place on Wednesday, January 19, at TOTO’S Restaurant at the Jones Beach Hotel. And, then came Omicron!
Not wanting to take a chance on the health and well being of our members, we chose to err on the side of caution and cancel that plan. We will, however, still meet on January 19, via Zoom, wish each other a wonderful new year, and take time to discuss some important current issues. More information will be forthcoming. We hope you will join us.
We are also planning to have a new and prospective member get together on Wednesday, January 26, from 2 to 3 pm, at the East Meadow Library. This also might have to be recast as a Zoom meeting. Please stay tuned!
