- Petitions for independent candidates seeking U.S. House seats will be due August 5, 2014.
- Petitions for independent candidates seeking any other office will be due August 19, 2014.
Due to court order, the primary election for federal offices will occur in June 2014. As of February 2014, the State Board of Elections had not published a comprehensive calendar for 2014 elections for state office. Consequently, filing deadlines for party candidates for state office are uncertain and thus not included in the calendar below.
