Bosworth To Give State Of The Town Address

On Friday, Jan. 29, North Hempstead Town Supervisor Judi Bosworth
will deliver her third State of the Town address at 1:15 p.m. at the
The clubhouse at Harbor Links, located at 1 Fairway Dr. in Port Washington. The address is open to the public and free of charge.

Supervisor Bosworth, who was recently re-elected to her second two-year term as Town Supervisor, will speak about her administration’s accomplishments in 2015 and her goals for 2016 and beyond.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to speak to North Hempstead Town residents about goals for the new year and our vision for the future,” Supervisor Bosworth said. “I am proud of what we have accomplished during my first term, and I look forward to working collaboratively with our elected officials and community members on some exciting new initiatives that will enhance our quality of life as we continue to provide services that residents expect and deserve.”

The State of the Town address is part of a luncheon program hosted as a public service by the League of Women Voters (LWV) of Port Washington-Manhasset, called Lunch with the League.

Amy Bass, vice president of the Port Washington-Manhasset LWV, and chair of the luncheon, states, “Our League chapter is honored to host Lunch with the League for the 36th year. We look forward to welcoming community members and officials for the luncheon and for Supervisor Judi Bosworth’s remarks. We invite the public to join us.”

There is a $40 charge for the luncheon. Check-in and light refreshments begin at 11:15 a.m., with lunch starting promptly at noon. The deadline for registration is Jan. 21. To attend the luncheon, contact the LWV at 516-767-1897.
